Coming from a tiny, but beautiful island from Norway, my dream has always been to travel to a country with a Climate more suited for my mentality. Last year I finally realised one of my many dreams; exploring the Australian continent. The land of the kangaroo's, boomerang's and didgeridoo's has a menu of delights that is indescribable. After one month as a backpacer, I returned with my schoolbag and entered the University of western Sydney, Nepean. Imagining that the western suburbs would have Australian cowboys, I was disappointend to find that Penrith was a "back to the seventhy sort of place", where the guys still were hockeyhairdo. Residented in Belmore street, Surry hills I could not be more central. Here I live in a nice home with two friends and my boyfriend. My friends are all from Scandinavian original, and I have finally confirmed that "birds of a feather flock together". When I am not spending time at the University I socialise with my friends in various. Living only 5 minutes from one of the coolest go-out streets in Sydney, Crows st., we often tend to end up at some sort of pub or club. The coordination of my social life and my studies does not always correspond, and typically at the end of the semester, I am up to my ears in work..."After self-indulgement comes the punishment". I never seem to get time to be as active as I would like, but I try to go to the gym regulary. My best exercise, however, is the walk from werrington train station.
